HUNTING DOLLS

Unangan/Sugpiaq (Aleut/Alutiiq) Hunting Dolls are made with a whale vertebrae body, moose antler face with baleen inlaid eyes. He has cottonwood bark mitts, seal skin pants with cedar for his boots. His head gear is made out of cottonwood bark with seal whiskers adorned with beads, feathers and walrus ivory carvings. The hunter is standing on a whale vertebra base.

HUNTER IN BIDARKA

Aleut/Alutiiq (Unangan/Sugpiaq) Hunter in Bidarka is made from whale vertebrae with a antler face, cedar paddle, cedar and ivory toggle harpoon. The hunter is adorned with a traditional chiefs hat. The buoy in back is made of seal gut and the boat is made of cedar. Every hunter is made at the time of order and vary in size and colors. Smaller hunters can be ordered with a display case.
